      I didn’t have an internship myself, but I know a number of people who did and benefited greatly from the experience – Participating in a scheme like Year in Industry gives the opportunity to see what it’s like to work in engineering before committing to it as a career and can accelerate their development, supporting Professional Registration earlier on.

      I think any experience you can gain in industry is valuable when applying for jobs.
